CEO Bernard Charlès joined Dassault Systèmes in 1983 and rose to become head of the company’s research and development organization in 1988. He was named president in 1995 and CEO in 2002. Charlès spoke recently with Spencer Stuart Software Practice leader Jason Hancock about the company’s growth, its approach to acquisitions and the innovations that its 3D applications are bringing to the design, manufacturing and marketing of products.
