Shozo Yanagi joined the Tokyo office of Spencer Stuart in 1993.
Shozo obtained a bachelor of economics degree from Kansai University in 1973. After graduating, he joined the international business division of Hitachi Ltd. In 1988, he joined KPMG Peat Marwick (Tokyo) Corporate Finance Advisory, where he held several positions, lastly as senior manager.
Shozo has published a book in the area of mergers and acquisitions. He has also made several speeches at seminars sponsored by Japanese banks and industry associations.
He specialises in searches in consumer goods and services for diversified multinationals, and for professional service firms, covering CEO, division head, CFO and marketing and sales head functions.
