Nayla Rizk draws on a wealth of diverse global experience to provide clients with executive search and consulting expertise. A member of the Technology, Communications & Media Practice and former leader of the practice in North America, she has placed key executives at a wide range of companies, from startups to Fortune 100 firms. Her experience runs the gamut of technologies, including cloud computing, SaaS, digital media, communications systems and services and professional services sectors. Nayla also provides recruitment and advice as a principal member of the Private Equity, Business & Professional Services and Board practices.
Global experience
- Before joining Spencer Stuart, Nayla served as director of strategic planning and re-engineering at Network Equipment Technologies, where she drove strategic and tactical planning and revamped the company’s order fulfillment process. Nayla previously served as an engagement manager with McKinsey & Company in New York and began her career as an operations research analyst for Chevron U.S.A. in San Francisco.
- Her interest in foreign policy has inspired her participation and leadership roles with a variety of organizations, including the Council on Foreign Relations and World Affairs Council of Northern California. She was also a member of the Pacific Council on International Policy.
- Nayla is a member of the Harvard Business School‘s California Research Center board, a former board member of the Harvard Business School Alumni Association and a long-term board member and former chair of the Harvard Business School Club of Northern California.
Nayla graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in operations research and industrial engineering, and received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. She is fluent in French and Arabic and speaks conversational Spanish.
