Fernando is a leader within the firm's Consumer Goods & Services Practice as well as the Technology, Communications & Media Practice in Chile. He has undertaken a wide range of international and local senior management assignments for consumer goods, retail, telecom operators and technology suppliers.
He has been heavily involved in identifying key talent for local retail operators during periods growth, aiding in development as important regional operators within Latin America.
Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Fernando led a start-up operation of an electronics high tech company in Chile, specializing in the development and integration of command and control systems, providing real time information to decision makers. In this role, his key responsibilities included the opening of foreign and local markets and the build up of world class technical team.
Fernando graduated as an electronics engineer and has a post –graduate degree in business from the Catholic University of Chile. In addition to his native Spanish, Fernando speaks English, French and German. Fernando and his wife Mónica reside in Santiago with their three children.
