Carl Gilchrist brings more than 30 years of information technology knowledge to his recruitment effort, providing him with the expertise to search for a broad range of senior executives. He currently leads Spencer Stuart’s North American Information Officer Practice.
He has placed more than 300 senior-level technology executives across a broad range of industries. His understanding of business processes and trends in information technology has led to placements at Avaya, Citigroup, The Coca-Cola Company, Constellation Brands, Express Scripts, Hoover’s, Kellogg, The Kroger Company, Macy’s, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Merck & Company and Medtronic. Carl's practice includes Fortune 1000 companies and he also has worked with many of the top venture capital firms.
Prior to joining Spencer Stuart in 1998, Carl was managing partner of another international executive search firm. Previously, he held numerous executive positions in sales, marketing and services with IBM.
Carl received a bachelor of science degree in business and public administration with a concentration in marketing from the University of Maryland.
