Based in Miami, Florida, Ken Eckhart is responsible for a segment of Spencer Stuart’s business in the United States consisting of offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Miami and Minneapolis. He is an active member of the global Transportation & Third-Party Logistics Practice, and has oversight for the firm’s consultant recruitment and development throughout North America.
Ken brings to his client work a global perspective, international search experience and knowledge of both developed and emerging markets. He has worked throughout North and South America, Europe, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region on behalf of established and start-up organizations. Ken has also consulted on leadership and talent issues with government agencies in the United States and China.
His previous management responsibilities include the firm’s businesses in South Florida and the Latin American gateway, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, as well as oversight of the global Transportation & Third-Party Logistics Practice. He played an instrumental role in opening offices in Miami, Mumbai and Dubai. A current member of Spencer Stuart’s board of directors, he also chaired the partner development committee and was a member of the board nominating committee. Before joining the firm, Ken held leadership roles with multinational firms in transportation and money-center banking.
Ken has served as a board member and treasurer of the Association of Executive Search Consultants, and is a former chairman of the organization's Asia Pacific Council. His board experience has included the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business, the American Institute of Banking and the Erikson Institute.
He received Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees from Bowling Green State University, and holds a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Denver.
