Dave MacEachern joined Spencer Stuart's Miami office in 1994 and is the leader of the firm’s global Transportation & Logistics Practice, as well as a senior member of the global Industrial Practice. With over 18 years of experience in executive search, he has completed senior executive search assignments and board of director assignments in a wide variety of transportation, logistics, industrial and manufacturing environments. His clients range from large global multinationals (Honeywell, APL, Maersk, CN, BNSF, Exel, ABX, Agilent, YRC Worldwide, Amazon, HP, BP, DHL and others), where he has expertise in both turnaround and growth environments, to smaller entrepreneurial organizations (Greatwide Logistics, Prologis, NAL, Rail America, Roadlink, Quality Distribution) requiring “next generation” leadership in taking companies to the next level.
Dave has experience in most functional areas with deep knowledge and expertise in the logistics and supply chain management arena. Dave has authored a number of articles and intellectual capital in the function, focusing on emerging leadership trends in supply chain and logistics.
Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Dave was a partner with a boutique executive search firm in Canada. He is a graduate of Dalhousie University with an honors bachelor of arts degree, and has completed postgraduate studies in political science.
