Lynn Olman is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Life Sciences and Education, Nonprofit & Public Policy practices and is based in the firm’s Chicago office. She specializes in working with clients in the healthcare services and nonprofit sectors. In addition to her extensive healthcare industry expertise, Lynn has a strong background in legislative and regulatory affairs.
Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Lynn served as president and chief executive officer of the Greater Cincinnati Health Council, one of the most highly regarded and successful regional hospital associations in the country, for 23 years. At the same time, she served as executive director of the Health Improvement Collaborative of Greater Cincinnati and secretary of the Hamilton County, Ohio, Hospital Commission. Prior to these roles, Lynn held administrative roles with the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and the American Hospital Association.
Lynn had an early interest in politics and received a Bachelor of Arts in government and public administration from American University and a Master of Science in legislative affairs from George Washington University. She was legislative assistant for Senator Howard Baker and held a congressional internship in the United States House of Representatives.
Throughout her career, Lynn has been active in community service both in the greater Cincinnati region and nationally. She has served on the boards of numerous local, state and national organizations, including the Health Careers Foundation Board of Trustees in St. Louis, the Association for Community Health Improvement in Chicago and the Conference of Metropolitan Hospital Associations. She also has been a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives since 1991.
