Bill Ward is a consultant in Spencer Stuart's Chicago office who brings a diverse consulting, and sales and marketing background to his executive search practice. He is a member of the firm's Industrial Practice, focusing on senior-level general management and functional executive needs for clients in the automotive, chemical, electronics and industrial equipment industries. Bill brings more than 20 years of functional experience in the areas of manufacturing, supply chain, and sales and marketing to his clients.
Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Bill served in a variety of sales management roles with Oracle Corporation, where he was responsible for sales and marketing activities for strategic accounts in the automotive and industrial sectors. Before joining Oracle, Bill was a partner with Andersen Consulting (currently Accenture), where he advised large multinational organizations on manufacturing and supply chain issues.
Over the course of his career, Bill has conducted assignments for Fortune 500 multinationals such as Cummins, Eaton, BASF, American Axle & Manufacturing, Johnson Controls and Nova Chemicals.
Bill earned his M.B.A. from The Ohio State University, and a B.A. from Michigan State University.
Bill, his wife, Lauren, and their three children reside in the Chicago area.
