Mark Eban currently leads Spencer Stuart’s Private Equity Practice in the U.K. He also specialises in the wholesale financial services and risk management areas.
Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Mark worked in the financial services industry. Most recently he was the chairman of the investment bank executive committee and global head of capital markets at Commerzbank. Before that, he worked for a number of major investment banks including Credit Suisse First Boston, SG Warburg and Salomon Brothers.
Mark graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, with an M.A. in Law. He qualified and practised as a Barrister, then worked for Bain & Co. before earning his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
