Simmons “Pat” Patrick is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Atlanta office and a member of the firm's Human Resources and Legal Search practices. He has worked broadly across all industries, including healthcare, technology, financial services, industrial and professional services.
Prior to entering the search field, Pat was a client manager and strategic human resources consultant in Charlotte, North Carolina with Mercer Human Resource Consulting and PricewaterhouseCoopers. During this time, Pat worked with senior business and human resources leaders to identify opportunities and develop initiatives that achieve alignment of the organization’s human capital and business strategies.
Prior to beginning his consulting career in 1996, Pat spent 14 years as an employee benefits/ERISA attorney with Womble, Carlyle, Sandridge & Rice, PLLC in its Raleigh, North Carolina office and with Troutman Sanders LLP in Atlanta. Pat is a former president of the Southern Employee Benefits Conference and is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Georgia, the North Carolina State Bar and the North Carolina Bar Association.
Pat holds a master of laws in taxation from the Emory University School of Law, a J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and a bachelor of arts from East Carolina University.
