David Beuerlein leads Spencer Stuart's Professional Services Practice. Building on his experience with McKinsey & Company prior to joining Spencer Stuart, David's search expertise includes significant work in all aspects of the professional services arena. He has successfully recruited a variety of executives out of the professional services industry and into functional marketing, strategy and M&A roles. In addition, he has helped build the organizations for a range of professional services firms, as well as the services arms of established product-based companies.
Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, David was a senior engagement manager at McKinsey & Company and served a broad range of clients in the areas of strategy and marketing.
David began his career as a program manager in the Advanced Design Group at General Dynamics. There, he led several classified research programs for the design of advanced military aircraft.
David earned a B.S. with distinction in aerospace engineering from the University of Kansas and both an M.S. in aerospace engineering and an M.B.A. with honors from the University of Texas. David serves on the board of trustees at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas.
