Angeles Fernandez brings more than 20 years of experience in the Mexican financial market to Spencer Stuart’s Financial Services Practice. Her primary area of expertise is asset management, which includes investment management, institutional investors (pension and mutual funds), and private and personal banking. Angeles also has experience in sales, marketing and distribution of financial products (insurance and investment) as well as in money market trading. She has performed in both Mexican and international financial corporations, such as ING, Santander and Skandia.
Angeles received her undergraduate degree from la Universidad de las Americas, A.C. and immediately joined the financial market as a money market broker at a Mexican brokerage house. Past positions have included vice president of personal banking for Santander Bank; senior vice president of sales, marketing and third-party distribution for ING Investment Management Mexico; and chief marketing officer of Skandia Mexico.
Angeles lives in Mexico City with her three children, Eduardo, Ernesto and Ana.
