Ger Scholtens manages Spencer Stuart's Amsterdam office and is a member of the Financial Services and Private Equity practices of Spencer Stuart in Europe. He joined the firm in 2002.
Ger's career began with Fokker Aircraft as manager of personnel and organisation and he subsequently held a number of line positions in this company. From 1991 to 1994 he was a member of the Board of Directors of Fokker Aircraft Services. He then joined a major film distribution company in the Netherlands as chief operating officer before transitioning into the executive search industry in 1996. He initially worked for a local search firm, which later was acquired by an international player in the field of search.
Since joining Spencer Stuart, Ger has been involved in a variety of searches at board and senior management level. Although the emphasis of his work has been in the financial services market, he has also done a lot of work in professional services and the energy distribution market. Ger obtained his M.B.A. at Nijenrode University
