Claudia Lacy Kelly is the global practice leader of Spencer Stuart's Human Resources Practice. She has more than 20 years of search experience to her credit. In addition to human resources, Claudia has expertise in recruiting chief executive officers, and board members, as well as running broad scale global intelligence, leadership assessment and CEO succession projects. At other times in her Spencer Stuart career, Claudia has been chairman of the firm's strategy committee, chief of staff to the CEO, a member of the firm's management committee, manager of the Stamford office and the leader of the Financial Services and Asset Management practices in North America.
Prior to entering the search field, Claudia was a senior engagement manager with McKinsey & Company, specializing in strategy and marketing for financial services and consumer companies.
A graduate with honors from the University of Virginia, Claudia also holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University, where she was the Colgate-Palmolive Fellow. She has worked in the White House for President Ford, and in the United States Senate on the staff of Senator Jacob K. Javits.
