Sarah Mulhern is a member of the firm’s European Technology, Communications & Media Practice.
Sarah concentrates on the technology sector, working with some of the world's largest technology companies as well as with pre-public companies, usually VC-backed in the software, wireless and semiconductors sectors. Her work spans the recruitment of senior executives and executive assessment. With her international background, Sarah is often called on by clients to focus on EMEA-wide and global searches. Since joining Spencer Stuart in 1999, Sarah has held leadership positions in both the Internet and Software practices.
Prior to Spencer Stuart, Sarah founded Scotwork Ireland Ltd. As managing director, she grew the business from scratch, delivering consulting services to Irish and international clients. She then ran Scotwork International's French operation. Earlier, she was a manager with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), based in Dublin, Sophia Antipolis and Paris, where she consulted on systems development projects and later managed software product marketing in EMEA.
Sarah holds an M.A. in philosophy and Italian literature from the University of Dublin, Trinity College. She is fluent in English, French and Italian.
