Located in the firm's Los Angeles office, Jack Schlosser is a member of Spencer Stuart's global Life Sciences Practice and leads the firm's Healthcare Services Practice. His area of expertise includes hospitals, healthcare systems, academic medical centers and non-institutional healthcare services. His search practice focuses on CEO and other top-level executive, board director and trustee assignments. He has conducted more than 100 CEO and COO searches over the course of his career.
Jack has spent his career in various segments of healthcare, including more than 18 years in executive search. He also held various management positions with Healthwest, a large healthcare system. Earlier in his career he was a consultant and manager with Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers).
An active industry professional, Jack is a fellow and former regent of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a past president of the UCLA Health Services Management Alumni Association. He received the 1999 “Leaders of Today…Leaders of Tomorrow” award from the UCLA Health Policy and Management Alumni Association, and serves on the UCLA Department of Health Services Professional Advisory Committee. Jack also is a member of the Healthcare Forum's Emerging Leaders Alumni Association. He has authored articles on career management and development and corporate governance which have been featured in leading trade publications including Trustee and regularly speaks at industry events.
A graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles, Jack received a master of public health in health services management and was inducted into the Upsilon Phi Delta Honor Society in recognition of his accomplishments for leadership within the industry.
