Rebecca Gowland is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Leadership Advisory Services, with executive assessment and succession as a particular area of expertise. While her geographic domain includes all of EMEA, she focuses on the Middle East, assessing and developing senior leaders across multiple industries within EMEA. She has a passion for working with leaders to identify their potential, enable their development and set them up for success, and helps executive teams develop a shared view of their succession agenda while simultaneously enhancing team effectiveness.

  • During her time at Spencer Stuart, Rebecca has worked with organizations in the ICT, banking, real estate (development and asset management), retail and hospitality, leisure and entertainment industries to build succession plans for key leadership roles.
  • She has partnered with regional and multinational clients, assessing senior leaders and advising companies on executive development and succession. Rebecca has also worked in international firms across varied sectors including consultancy engineering, logistics, and advertising and media, partnering with businesses to drive performance and employee engagement.
  • Her career started within APAC before relocating to the Middle East.

Rebecca graduated from Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand, with a Bachelor of Commerce in marketing and human resources and industrial relations, and a Bachelor of Arts in classical studies and art history.
