Gordon Campbell leads Spencer Stuart’s Leadership Advisory Services efforts in the Middle East. Since joining Spencer Stuart in 2000, Gordon has partnered with regional and multinational clients, assessing senior leaders and advising companies on executive development, succession, organizational culture, merger integration and board effectiveness.

Worldwide experience in diverse industries

  • Gordon has engaged in local and international assessment and culture diagnostic projects for large private companies, as well as for multinational and medium-sized enterprises spanning the Middle East and across Europe. These have covered several sectors including telecommunications, infrastructure, real estate (development and asset management), pharmaceutical, FMCG, retail and hospitality.
  • This work has focused on large, complex and often sensitive projects, and he brings a rich perspective and extensive experience of managing these for companies in transition in the Middle East, with a focus on identifying potential and the development of both expatriate and local regional talent.
  • Gordon’s early career was spent working on offshore assets in the oil industry, followed by various production and operational roles in the consumer goods sector. He had geographic responsibility for, and lived in, multiple countries across Europe and the Middle East.

Gordon holds a degree in engineering from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland.
