Based in the Tokyo office, Atsushi Fujino is a member of Spencer Stuart’s Leadership Advisory Services team. With more than 15 years of experience as a leadership and human capital adviser, he works with global and Japanese clients across diverse industry sectors, advising on succession planning, executive assessment, leadership development, performance management and organizational culture. Atsushi also conducts executive searches across industries and functions.

- Before joining Spencer Stuart, Atsushi was a senior principal at Mercer’s Career business and served as a leader for talent management solutions in Japan. His client work included developing people strategy and programs to support client growth opportunities, including M&As and globalization. He also assessed leadership performance and potential and created individual development plans to help strengthen clients’ talent pipelines.
- Earlier in his career, Atsushi was an international development consultant for KRI International, Nippon Koei. He worked on highly complex projects in public sector management in emerging and developing countries.
Atsushi earned an MBA from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School and a Master of Science in urban development planning from University College London. He has a bachelor’s degree in political science from International Christian University in Tokyo.
