Arturo Llopis is a consultant based in Spencer Stuart’s Barcelona office and is a member of the firm’s Industrial and Consumer practices. He works extensively on search assignments for clients in these industries, many of them private-equity backed. Arturo leads the Leadership Advisory Services practice in Spain, where he advises clients on succession planning, leadership and talent assessment, team effectiveness and alignment of culture, organization, talent and strategy in companies.
Leadership experience and consulting expertise
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Arturo established his own private equity management company and served as its CEO and managing director for 10 years. The firm invested in several middle-market industrial companies, and Arturo was responsible for conducting an IPO of one company on the Spanish Stock Exchange.
- Earlier, Arturo was a management consultant with Bain & Company for six years, specializing on private equity deals across several industries.
- Before entering the consulting industry, Arturo was a professional basketball player for a number of teams, including FC Barcelona.
Arturo has an M.B.A. from IESE, School of Business Administration of the Universidad de Navarra, and a B.A. in economics and computer science from Harvard University. He speaks Spanish, Catalan and English.
