Lucinda Stewart is based in Seattle and is a member of the Technology, Media & Telecommunications, Financial Officer, Private Equity and Board practices. In addition to working with a broad range of technology clients, she also works on assignments for organizations bridging the technology and healthcare sectors. Lucinda brings more than 20 years of experience in venture capital, business and corporate development, and operations for technology and services businesses.

Experience in management and operations

  • Before joining Spencer Stuart, Lucinda served as vice president of corporate development for Fisher Communications.
  • Previously, Lucinda was a general partner and co-leader of the IT practice at OVP Venture Partners, focusing on digital media, wireless, enterprise software, SaaS, healthcare IT and services spaces. While at OVP, she served on more than 20 boards, launched OVP’s advisory board and managed strategic relationships with venture firms on both coasts.
  • Earlier in her career, Lucinda was on the investment team at Frazier Healthcare, a $1.8-billion healthcare-focused venture capital firm. She also worked as an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in New York, and was part of the startup team at National Surgery Centers, identifying development and acquisition targets and opportunities for operational center improvement.

Lucinda was named one of the “40 Under Forty” by Puget Sound Business Journal in 2007. In addition to her investment boards, has served on nonprofit boards including Mercy Corporation’s Phoenix Fund, the University of Washington W Fund, Northwest Entrepreneur Network, Evergreen Venture Capital Association and the Evergreen School. She earned her M.B.A. from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and her B.A. from University of Puget Sound.
