Winning in a Converging World: Business and talent trends in the global communications industry

The convergence of technologies, consolidation, demographic shifts among the customer base and the explosive growth of emerging markets all present communications companies with a range of exciting opportunities — and significant challenges. In response to these trends, companies are exploring new business models, expanding into new markets or businesses, improving their knowledge about customers, building distinctive brands and improving the efficiency of their operations.

In this study, we share highlights from our discussions with senior leaders of communications companies all over the world and share our recommendations for developing the talent communications companies need today and in the future.
