Defining Life Sciences Leadership: Changes in the barometer of talent in life sciences

Joe Boccuzi, John Mitchell
May 2006

This study by the firm’s Life Sciences Practice examines the state of talent development in life sciences companies, including the ways that industry challenges such as the rising cost of healthcare are affecting the leadership requirements for senior executives and the strategies life sciences companies are adopting to develop future leaders.

More than 100 chief executive officers and human resources executives across the spectrum of life sciences companies participated in a survey about the competencies senior life sciences leaders must possess and their companies’ talent development and succession-planning initiatives.
