September 2008
This issue of Life Sciences Monitor looks at the trends that have converged to elevate the compliance function — and the role of the chief compliance officer — in many life sciences organizations. The growth in demand for experienced compliance leaders is outpacing the supply, at least for the time being. In light of this challenge, we explore how life sciences companies are evaluating their requirements for the compliance officer role and, in some cases, making trade-offs to get the talent they need.
A second article defines the set of skills that comprise Executive Intelligence and examines the role this critical component of business performance plays in the success of executives, highlighting several examples from life sciences.
