Margaret Lee leads the Financial Officer Practice in Asia. Margaret has conducted searches for CEOs and other senior finance executives for major corporate clients. She also is a core member of the Financial Services Practice in Greater China, and has led many searches for key corporate officers of various financial institutions.
Margaret joined Spencer Stuart in 1994 with a background in consultancy and finance. She gained more than 10 years of professional experience with two of the 'Big Four' accounting firms: Ernst &Young and Price Waterhouse Coopers. During this period, Margaret acquired extensive exposure to commercial business, encompassing valuations, corporate restructuring, fund raising, liquidations and mergers and acquisitions.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Margaret received her tertiary education in the United Kingdom. She graduated from the University of London with a degree in statistics and computer science and holds an M.B.A. from the University of Bradford in England. Margaret also is a fellow member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants in the UK.
She is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
