Bodo Mann is a member of the Financial Services, Business & Professional Services, Technology, Communications & Media and Aviation, Aerospace & Defense practices. He brings 15 years of experience in finance, strategy, manufacturing and management consulting across Europe and Australasia to his role.
Before joining Spencer Stuart, Bodo was the founder and managing director of White Room Associates, a boutique strategy and management consulting firm with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Singapore. Prior to that, he spent six years with Booz & Company in London and Sydney, ending up as a principal. While in London, he was a member of the European aviation & defense practice. After moving to Sydney he joined the ANZSEA management team and was a member of the firm’s financial services practice in addition to leading the change management and service operations/IT practices.
Before Booz & Company, Bodo was employed by General Electric Company (USA) and GE Capital Europe, where he completed the financial management program for high-level graduates with professional experience. While at GE, he held five roles across five different GE Capital and Manufacturing/Technology businesses in Europe and America.
Bodo graduated from London Business School, where he completed the one-year Corporate Finance Evening Program, sponsored by Booz & Company. He received his M.B.A. equivalent degree with honours from the University of Erlangen – Nuremberg, Germany, and the “Institute d’Etudes Politiques” ('Sciences Po') in Strasbourg, France. Bodo is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). He speaks native German and is fluent in English and French.
