Rodrigo Calderón is a consultant based in Spencer Stuart’s Bogota office, where he is a member of the firm’s Technology, Communications & Media and Industrial practices. He specializes in assisting clients in identifying and attracting senior-level executives, CEOs and board members across these sectors. Rodrigo also has experience working with consumer goods and services companies.
Prior to joining the firm, Rodrigo served for more than 10 years as general manager for various corporate enterprises in the industrial sector, including Quimicos Poliven and Geon Andina. During his tenure with this plastic compound manufacturer, he implemented a business servicing unit in nearly every Latin American country, growing the business exponentially. Rodrigo also has extensive technology experience, with specialized expertise in solutions selling. Throughout his career, he has also worked on various joint ventures between U.S. and South American corporations. Rodrigo began his career as a design engineer for Electra Electronica in Bogota.
Rodrigo holds an M.B.A. from the Universidad de Los Andes in Bogota and a B.S. as engineer in electronics from Universidad Javeriana in Bogota. He speaks Spanish and English.
