Art Brown is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Stamford office and a member of the firm’s Consumer Goods & Services Practice.
He joined Spencer Stuart after eight years with a boutique search firm and management consulting practice where he specialized in the consumer industry, working with clients including Campbell Soup Company, Gillette, Sara Lee, Dean Foods, Kimberly-Clark, Hanes brands, Terex and Starbucks. Art spent 19 years as an executive in consumer products businesses, and most recently served as vice president of strategy and development at Pepsi-Cola North America. Prior to rejoining Pepsi, he served as vice president of sales and customer business centers at James River Corporation (now Georgia Pacific); and prior to James River he served as vice president of sales for candy maker E.J. Brach Corporation in Chicago. He began his career with Procter and Gamble in sales management, and subsequently joined Pepsi-Cola USA in field and national management positions.
Art is a graduate of the University of Richmond and resides in New Canaan, Connecticut with his wife, Terrie, and their two children.
