Heike Schwesinger is a member of Spencer Stuart’s Financial Services and Legal Search practices, and is based in Frankfurt.
Heike has experience conducting senior-level executive and board searches for clients in the banking, private equity, insurance and real estate sectors. In addition, she has developed extensive expertise conducting financial officer and nonexecutive director assignments for companies across industries. In her legal search, Heike specializes in senior domestic and international general counsel as well as company secretarial and compliance recruitments. She also recruits for German and international law firms.
Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Heike started her executive search career in 2001 and was a partner for another international executive search firm, specializing in the banking, insurance, private equity and real estate sectors. Before starting her career in executive search, Heike was employed in the legal department of the Dutch-German Chamber of Commerce in The Hague.
Heike studied law in Germany, Switzerland and The Netherlands and graduated and earned her Ph.D. in law from the University of Hamburg.
A German national, Heike is fluent in English, French and Dutch in addition to her native German.
