Buhle Masithela brings 15 years of consumer goods and financial services experience at blue-chip South African and global firms to her role as a member of Spencer Stuart’s Consumer Goods & Services and Financial Services practices.
Before joining Spencer Stuart, Buhle spent 8 years at RMB, one of South Africa’s premier merchant banks. As business development director there, she originated deals and managed client relationships in the public sector for RMB’s treasury services, infrastructure finance, corporate finance, structured finance and debt capital markets solutions products. She began her career with brand management roles in the consumer goods industry at Amalgamated Beverage Industries, Unilever Foods, and Nabisco South Africa.
Buhle holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree and a Higher Diploma in Education from the University of Natal in Pietermaritzburg, and an M.B.A. from the Simmons School of Management in Boston.
