As head of professional development, Liane Kemp is a member of the global management team and responsible for ensuring that the firm's standards of quality and client service are translated into a day to day reality through the provision of appropriate training and development opportunities.
She joined Spencer Stuart in 1994 and spent her first eight years in search serving clients in the Life Sciences and Aviation practices as well as completing a number of human capital assignments for companies either contemplating a merger/acquisition or looking to bed one down.
Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Liane spent four years managing the nutritional products division of the New Zealand Dairy Board. She also managed the day-to-day operations of a U.S.-based joint venture responsible for the commercialisation of biotechnology products.
Liane started her career in the oil and gas industry in a corporate planning and technical advisory capacity before becoming the planning manager for a venture capital company. She graduated from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, with a bachelor of science degree in mathematics.
