Nick Young provides executive search consulting services for U.S. and international clients in a variety of sectors including private equity, financial services, board services, consumer products, natural resources and industrial manufacturing.
Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Nick was vice president of Citibank, where he headed the Global Gold Business, which provided corporate finance and investment banking services to governments, corporations and investors. Previously, he held sales, marketing, trading and management positions with other multinational corporations including AMAX, Kennecott and Hudson Bay Mining.
Nick has a comprehensive list of industrial clients including large multinational companies, as well as smaller, more entrepreneurial or private equity owned businesses. He conducts assignments for chairmen, CEOs, presidents, COOs, board members and division presidents. Examples of his CEO searches include Armstrong World Industries, Borden Chemicals, Eagle-Picher, Formica, Hercules, Honeywell, Hubbell, Ionics, Nalco, Praxair, W.R. Grace and Walter Industries. Board search experience includes Engelhard, Walter Industries, Gentek, Safelite and Hayes Lemmerz.
Nick has extensive business experience throughout Latin America, Europe and Asia. He is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
