Robert Nowakowski is a consultant based in Spencer Stuart’s Warsaw office and is a member of the firm’s Consumer Goods & Services, Industrial, Life Sciences, Human Resources and Financial Officer practices. Having led many senior-level search assignments, he has worked with preeminent consumer goods and industrial companies, including Coty, Cadbury Wedel, Lekkerland, Hiestand, Magneti Marelli, Johnson Controls, Vattenfall and many others.
Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Robert served as a human resources director for Central and Eastern Europe for PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay. In that role, he was responsible for human resources strategy development and deployment across all PepsiCo CEE markets, executive team development, staffing and succession planning. Before joining PepsiCo in June 1996, he held various human resources roles in Poland and Eastern Europe, including leading the organization and management development function in Eastern Europe, managing a green-field start-up in Russia and then heading the human resources function for PepsiCo in Russia & CIS. Robert began his professional career in 1993 with another global search firm, where he served as a researcher and information manager.
Robert is a Polish national and graduated from University of Lodz, where he studied English. He is fluent in Polish, English and Russian.
