Artur Żurek is consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Warsaw office and is a member of the firm’s Financial Services and the Professional Services practices, responsible for clients and assignments in Central and Eastern Europe. His client portfolio consists of reputable retail and wholesale banks, insurance, asset management, private equity as well as real estate and consulting companies.
Prior to joining Spencer Stuart in 2006, Artur served four years with Bank BPH S.A. (owned by Unicredit Group of Italy) as managing director with responsibility for HR services as well as restructuring and organization development projects. Before that, he worked for more than 10 years in management and strategy consulting, initially with KPMG and later with Boston Consulting Group. Artur has consulted on projects across a range of industries, including banking, telecommunications and media throughout Poland, Czech Republic, Ukraine and the U.K.
Artur has also delivered lectures on a number of business and HRM subjects, particularly change management and restructuring. He also served as an individual coach for managers. He graduated from the Wroclaw University with an M.A. in psychology. He complemented his education with postgraduate studies in foreign trade at Wroclaw Academy of Economics and an executive development program at the Stockholm School of Economics.
Apart from Artur’s native Polish, he is fluent in English and Russian.
