Claudia Schütz is a member of the firm´s Life Sciences and Human Resources practices, and is based in Frankfurt.
Claudia has extensive experience recruiting top executives, including CEOs, general managers, marketing, sales and human resources directors across industry functions as well as senior-level positions in specialised functions, such as research and development. She has served clients ranging from domestic and mid-sized companies in Germany to large international corporations. Her expertise spans the life sciences industry, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and medical devices. In addition Claudia has experience in conducting searches for the chemical, cosmetics and food industries. She has served as an account manager for several major international client relationships and is experienced in management assessment.
Claudia started her executive search career in 1992 and was a partner with another international search firm before joining Spencer Stuart. She began her career in discovery research focusing on genetic engineering at Dechema, Frankfurt and Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research, Braunschweig.
Claudia holds a Ph.D. degree in biology from the University of Frankfurt and a master’s degree in German literature. She is fluent in German and English.
