Dr. Wolfgang Zillessen is a member of the firm's Industrial and Information Officer practices and is based in Frankfurt.
Wolfgang concentrates on searches and management assessments in the industrial sector, with particular emphasis in industrial machinery, chemicals and other process industries. In addition, he focuses on professional services in industry, management consulting and IT management.
Wolfgang's extensive management consulting experience is a result of working at senior levels with many leading companies across a variety of sectors. His focus has been on corporate strategy, restructuring and M&A projects with global clients. Before joining Spencer Stuart, he was a partner with Deloitte where he was responsible for the European strategy practice for five years. Prior to Deloitte he spent 12 years with Arthur D. Little as consultant, partner and managing director for the firm's German business.
His early career includes four years with the Dutch Philips group. Wolfgang has a Ph.D. and graduated in business administration from the University of Cologne. He is member of the Society of Chemical Industry (SCI).
