Connie McCann is the head of Spencer Stuart's North American Financial Services Practice. She has led searches for senior executives in banking, asset management and private equity investment, and in key functional roles across these and other industries. She joined the Philadelphia office of Spencer Stuart in 1993, and she managed the office from 1997 to 2003.
Prior to joining the firm, Connie was a senior vice president and managing director of Chemical Bank, where she held key management positions in the areas of consumer banking, private banking and technology-based businesses. She began her career at McKinsey & Company, Inc., where she served as a strategy consultant to financial services firms.
Connie is a native of Philadelphia. She was graduated from Wesleyan University with a B.A. in economics. She also holds an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she was an Arjay Miller Scholar.
