Kristine Johnson is a consultant based in Spencer Stuart’s Orange County office and is a member of the firm’s Education, Nonprofit & Public Policy Practice.
Kristine has deep expertise in senior-level search within academia and the nonprofit sector. She has led and conducted assignments for some of the world’s most preeminent nonprofit organizations and higher education institutions, including the University of California at Berkeley, Columbia University and Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
With more than 17 years of professional experience, Kristine covers a broad range of industries, including executive search experience with two of the largest global professional services firms. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, she led professional and executive recruitment within The Walt Disney Company. Previously, Kristine was with PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting, where she served as an associate director of recruitment for the information, communications and entertainment practice. She also led college and M.B.A. recruitment for the Los Angeles office of Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). Before she began her search career, Kristine spent several years in the government sector as a public affairs and media relations officer with the United States Coast Guard.
Kristine holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
