Fabrice Desmarescaux, based in Singapore, is a member of Spencer Stuart's Financial Services practice which he led in Asia-Pacific for three years. He focuses primarily on senior appointments in private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and asset management, including board directors, CEO, CFO, investment professionals, fund raisers, advisors, and operating partners.
Fabrice is global co-head of Spencer Stuart’s Real Estate Practice. He is also a member of the Business & Professional Services Practice and recruits partners for consulting firms. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Fabrice worked with Fullerton Financial Holdings, a subsidiary of Temasek Holdings, as Executive Vice President of Bank Danamon Indonesia and as a Board Director of NIB Bank in Pakistan. Before that, Fabrice was a partner of McKinsey & Company leading the firm’s financial services practice in Southeast Asia. He started his consulting career with Booz Allen & Hamilton in Europe and Singapore.
Throughout his consulting and banking career, Fabrice has worked on topics such as strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and business performance improvement. He is a frequent speaker at industry forums, a contributor to the book Banking in Asia: Acquiring a profit mindset, and taught banking at INSEAD. He also sits on INSEAD’s Singapore Council.
Fabrice holds an M.B.A. from INSEAD and a master's degree in civil engineering from Ecole Centrale in Paris. He is a Permanent Resident of Singapore and speaks English, French, Spanish, and Indonesian.
