Gianluca manages Selector Europe Italy, a service dedicated to middle management and specialised in recruiting and selecting young high-potential managers and professionals. Selector Europe operates across all practices while maintaining internal sector and function specialisations.
Prior to joining Spencer Stuart in October 2005, Gianluca spent more than fifteen years with one of the most important European firms focused on hiring middle managers. There, he was responsible for the main Italian office in Milan, with more than 15 consultants. In this role, he operated mainly in the life sciences and consumer goods sectors, while building on his competencies in all functional roles.
Gianluca has developed projects in recruitment and selection at all levels, including board directors and senior-level executives, and was responsible in Italy for the implementation of people development and team development services such as assessment, coaching, competency analysis and team building. He was regarded as the subject matter expert in these areas within Italy.
The first part of his career was spent at an advertising firm, where he was responsible for the administrative and reporting department.
Gianluca has a university degree in industrial science, with a major in business. He speaks English and Italian.
