Based in Shanghai, Yimin Wang is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Industrial and Financial Services practices. He brings to the firm more than 15 years of professional global experience within Asia and the U.S.
Within the Industrial Practice, Yimin’s search work focuses on the transportation and third-party logistics, procurement and supply chain management sectors. He also specializes in asset management and consumer finance assignments within the firm’s Financial Services Practice.
Prior to joining the firm, Yimin worked with another top global executive search firm, recruiting senior-level executives for general management, finance, sales, marketing, human resources and operations positions. He was also a marketing manager and engineer with National Semiconductor Corporation in Santa Clara, California, before beginning his career in search.
Before his initial move to the U.S., Yimin’s was a manager at a logistics joint venture in China, where he held responsibility for account management, operations management and customer services. He began his career as an agency customs broker with a large state-owned enterprise in Pudong, Shanghai.
Yimin graduated from Shanghai University with a B.A. in international trade. He received a master’s degree in pacific international affairs with a concentration in international management from the University of California, San Diego.
