Randy Kelley joined Spencer Stuart in 1995 and managed the firm’s Dallas office for five years. He also led the firm’s Professional Services practice for North America, recruiting senior level professionals for management consulting, systems integration, transaction processing, and outsourcing firms, as well as private equity firms with significant portfolio investments in these sectors.
Randy now serves as a core member of the firm’s Financial Officers practice. In this role, he focuses on recruiting chief financial officers, as well as controllers, treasurers, and functional heads of tax, internal audit, planning and analysis, and corporate development.
Randy was formerly a partner with the international management consulting firm of McKinsey & Company, where he served top management of leading companies on a broad a range of strategy, operations, and organizational issues. During his 10 years at McKinsey, he served clients in the technology, retail, consumer goods and services, and healthcare sectors. He was also active in recruiting associates and analysts to the firm’s rapidly growing offices in the Southwest.
Prior to joining McKinsey, Randy worked on the audit and consulting staffs of two international accounting firms. He received a B.B.A. degree in accounting from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. degree from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He is a certified public accountant in Texas and has contributed to several leading publications including The Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, and Today’s CPA.
