Tibor helped pioneer the executive search industry in the Czech and Slovak republics. He began his career in executive search in 1991, building the industry in association with experienced western partners. He began by concentrating on the fast growing consumer goods sector. As his practice grew, he broadened his focus to include industrial products, service industries and other developing businesses like energy and natural resources and life sciences.
Prior to joining the executive search industry, Tibor worked for 17 years in international trade, focusing on trade with OECD countries. He also spent five years in Switzerland supporting trade between Czech and Swiss companies. In 1990, Tibor undertook the mission of establishing a representative office in the Czech Republic for one of the major Austrian banks.
Tibor received a degree in international trade from the University of Economics in Bratislava/Slovakia. In addition to his native Slovak, Tibor also speaks Czech, German, English and Russian.
