Fernando Carneiro is the manager of Spencer Stuart's operations in Brazil and heads the firm's Financial Services Practice in South America. He also is a member of the firm’s Financial Officer Practice, and specializes in recruiting assignments for the professional services sector. He has led searches for senior executives in banking, insurance, wealth management, private equity and a variety of other industries.
Before joining Spencer Stuart, Fernando was an executive director for another international executive search firm. Prior to his career in executive search, he held senior positions in distinguished banks, associations and international management consulting companies.
Fernando earned a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, and a post graduate degree in business administration from COPPEAD/Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
