John de Regt, based in Spencer Stuart's Stamford, Connecticut, office, is leader in the firm's global Aviation Specialty Practice. During his 20 years in executive search, John has successfully completed searches for chief executive officers, presidents and vice presidents of manufacturing, engineering, finance, program management and marketing companies. John's focuses on airline, aerospace, defense and electronic businesses, as well as boards of directors.
Prior to joining Spencer Stuart in 2003, John worked with two other international search firms. Earlier, he served as chartering manager for Ogden Marine, an international shipping company, and as an Officer with the United States Navy.
John received his M.B.A. in finance and international economics from New York University, a master of science degree with honors in transportation management from the State University of New York Maritime College, and a B.A. in economics from Dartmouth College.
