Richard Lin is a Shanghai-based consultant in Spencer Stuart's Consumer Goods & Services, Technology, Communications & Media and Industrial practices. He also is a leader in the quick-serve restaurant sector for the Asia Pacific region. Currently based in Shanghai, he joined the firm in 2002 and has over 16 years of management and consulting experience in the consumer and technology sectors. He currently focuses on building senior management teams for consumer, technology, and industrial companies in the Greater China region.
Before joining Spencer Stuart, Richard helped build the technology search practice in Southern California for another leading international executive search firm. Prior to executive search, he worked for A.T. Kearney Management Consulting, where he consulted for Fortune 500 companies in the consumer and technology sectors. Richard also worked for three years as a marketing manager for a leading real estate development company based in Taipei, Taiwan. He began his career in sales management with NCR.
Richard holds an M.B.A. from the McCombs Graduate School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin and a B.S.E. in computer science and engineering from UCLA.
