With over 25 years of experience in executive search, Gerhard Oberhuber is a member of Spencer Stuart's Vienna office.
Prior to joining the firm, Gerhard was a managing partner with AMROP International/Hager, Wilhelm and Partner, which became part of Spencer Stuart in 1998. In this role, he conducted assignments for primarily medium- and small-sized companies, often recruiting executives across the borders of Germany, Italy and Switzerland. Gerhard has also worked as an independent consultant and began his consulting career at Dr. Helmut Neumann Managementberatung, where he was a managing partner. Before entering executive search, Gerhard was an area sales manager for Oesterreichische Brau AG, one of Austria's largest brewing companies. Gerhard earned a degree in economics from the University of Innsbruck, and served as a freelance lecturer at the university for 16 years.
