Based in Spencer Stuart’s Dubai office in the United Arab Emirates, Rob Wilder is a key member of the firm’s global Financial Services and Real Estate practices. He also plays a leading role in the Professional Services Practice across the European and Middle Eastern regions, working in the technology arena.
Previously located in the firm’s London office, Rob joined Spencer Stuart, bringing 10 years of experience in the executive search industry, which included tenure as a vice president and director at two other major international search firms. Before beginning his career in search, he worked with General Electric Company in their technology sales division.
Much of Rob’s work in recent years has been with major Middle Eastern organisations seeking to build new investment or banking businesses. He has worked closely with a number of regional chairmen and chief executive officers to provide advice around structure and strategy, as well as helping recruit the top managerial talent into their organisations.
Rob studied geology at university, where he received a bachelor’s degree with honours. He resides in Dubai with his wife, Maria, and their three children.
