Based in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, Marco Boni is responsible for Spencer Stuart’s Middle East business, providing advisory and board services to multinational and regional companies. He specialises in recruiting chief executive officers, chief financial officers and other senior-level executives for general management and key corporate roles.
Marco spent seven years working in the Johannesburg office where he recruited senior executives across a broad range of industries including the Technology, Communications & Media; Consumer Goods & Services; Financial Services and the broad Industrial sectors, for leading global corporate clients both in South Africa, continental Africa and the Middle East. Marco is experienced in conducting non-executive board work, including the recruitment of chairmen and non-executive directors, as well as board evaluations.
Marco brings extensive international experience to his role, having spent his early career in the diplomatic service, which included postings to Australia, Africa and the Middle East. Marco also served as the official media spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for South Africa.
Marco is a graduate of the universities of Cape Town and Stellenbosch. He speaks English, Italian, French and Afrikaans.
